
Newman Week is our annual philanthropy week. Students and parishioners work tirelessly to raise money and awareness for a worthy cause, build visibility on campus and build community within our own St. Thomas More Newman Center parish, all while having a little fun.

Kid’s Carnival
Sunday, February 7th, 1-3 pm, MPR

Silent Dessert Auction
Feb. 12, 6:30 pm-Musical Intercession
Bring a dessert the night of the musical to auction off! Highest selling dessert wins a free massage!Student Musical
Thursday-Saturday, February 11th-13th, 7 pm, Chapel
Signs from God is an entertaining show featuring group of friends who are all seeking out their next steps in life. In their struggle, they come to remember and realize God’s call and purpose in their lives. The characters each seek out their “sign from God”, which leads to many twists and turns in the plot!
Knights of Columbus Brunch
Sunday, February 14th, MPR, donations accepted, all proceeds will go to Newman Week
Speaker's Series
Now in its sixth year, the series strives to provide the campus community and the local Catholic community with a compelling and intellectually stimulating discussion of current issues facing our Church.
Musical
The production is performed and directed by students and will premier February 11-13, 2010.
Campus Competition
Campus groups from MU, Stephens and Columbia College can join in our Newman Week festivities to help us raise awareness and funds for our charity and, of course, pursue fabulous prizes. Involvement includes a service project, a booth at our parish kids carnival, attending our musical and a little advertising. Congratulations to our 2009 champions, Mark Twain Hall.
Fire & Ice Ball
Our semi-formal is a chance to get all dressed up and celebrate our fundraising accomplishments or just to dance the night away!
Prayer Vigil
A team of students plan a lead a night to pray for the individuals who will receive the proceeds of our Newman Week efforts and all of those affected by similar issues.
Parish Kids Carnival
This is your chance to paint faces, play games, blow up balloons and have a great time with the kids in our parish!
