Lectors After careful preparation and prayer, lectors proclaim the scripture readings (the Word of God) during liturgical celebrations. 
Lector Orientation/part 1:  September 23: 7-9pm (Disciples Room) 
Lector Orientation/part 2:  September 30: (time is determined during part 1) 
(must attend both sessions)


Eucharistic Ministers

In a spirit of reverence Eucharistic Ministers share the Body and Blood of Christ with the assembly. Eucharistic Ministers must have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. 
Eucharistic Minister Orientation: October 4: 7-9pm (Disciples Room) 
Eucharistic Minister Orientation: October 7: 7-9pm (Disciples Room) 
(Attend either Session) 

Eucharistic Ministry Refresher (open to all; required for EM's who were commissioned in 2007 and wish to be re-commissioned). 
    October 26 or 28: 7:00pm Liturgy and Social Justice: (Jim Kemna/Diocesan Religious Education Director; presenter) (attend either session)
 

Greeters

As the Body of Christ assembles for worship, greeters welcome all who come to the feast, extending a warm smile and friendly "hello"! 
Greeter orientation: October 18: 7:00-8:00pm (Aquinas Room)


Mass Coordinators

In service to the assembly, Mass Coordinators prepare the worship space for the celebration of the liturgy. They serve as cross bearers in the liturgy.  Orientation is done individually. (contact Joe Kouba (449-5424)


Altar Servers

Young people (4th grade and up) are eligible to be altar servers, assisting at the altar during the worship celebration.   
Server Training: August 28: 11:00am in the church).Contact the office (449-5424) for additional orientation times.


Liturgical Drama/Movement

The liturgy is enhanced through creative expression and emphasis. Actors, dancers, and others with a background or interest in theater are welcome. (contact Barbara Dawson: 886-9638)

 

Audio/Visual Technicians

Sound system and powerpoint operators helpers assist the participation of the assembly within the liturgy.  (contact Joe Kouba (449-5424)
